Event Management Consultancy for The ©Postal Museum

post-boxFor 75 years from 1927 the Post Office operated its own underground railway in central London, called MailRail. Serving 9 stations from Paddington to Whitechapel, MailRail carried millions of letters and parcels every year but rising costs forced its closure in 2003.

In 2013 it was announced that the Mount Pleasant station would be converted to a museum and part of the railway re-commissioned as a tourist attraction. In 2017 it will re-open as the © Postal Museum.

EMC were asked to evaluate the opportunities for corporate and private events at the site and provide an outline business plan, through event management consultancy, and were retained to assist an events marketing plan.

The project is now in the development stage, and will open as the © Postal Museum in 2017.
