Graham Hill Joins Events Management Consultancy

March 23rd, 2017

After nearly twenty two years’ service, Graham Hill is leaving Squaremeal to join the Events Management Consultancy group. During his time at Squaremeal, Graham was instrumental in the development of the Venues + Events portfolio and brand, overseeing its growth from a few pages at the back of the annual Squaremeal restaurant guide, to a stand-alone guide, magazine and market-leading trade show.  He also played an integral part in the development and commercial success of Squaremeal.co.uk and other digital products.

CEO & Co Founder of Squaremeal, Simon White, commented:

Graham’s passion for the product and the industry it serves, loyalty to the company, fastidious attention to detail and work ethic have been essential to the growth and success of Squaremeal and the Venues + Events portfolio over the past two decades and more. We wish him all the very best in his future career.”

Managing Director of Events Management Consultancy, Eddie Hoare, commented:

We are delighted to be welcoming Graham into the EMC fold, where he will be able to apply his vast industry knowledge and experience to a range of clients, while also helping to grow not only the Events Management Consultancy brand, but also the Exclusive Heritage Venues portfolio that we recently acquired.”

Graham Hill commented:

“I’ve had an amazing time at Squaremeal and am very proud of my achievements, building a business and creating employment. But it’s time to move on and do some different things and I very much look forward to the variety afforded by consultancy work, as well as working closely with the EMC team, particularly Eddie Hoare and Guy Rodger, both of whom I’ve known for over twenty years.

I leave Squaremeal and the Venues + Events portfolio in a good place and in very good hands – and will continue to champion its attributes… Indeed, EMC & EHV plan to book a stand at this year’s show!”

Events Management Consultancy Purchased Exclusive Heritage Venues

December 21st, 2016

The Directors at E+M+C are delighted to announce that they have purchased the business of Exclusive Heritage Venues. The business, which has a 25 year record of representing the finest heritage venues at key trade shows and exhibitions and providing its clients with business plans and event consultancy through its partner business Consilium, has been acquired on the retirement of its long term Principal, Brandon Stuart-Barker.

Eddie Hoare and Brandon Stuart-Barker have  known each other for nearly 30 years and many of E+M+C’s clients had been successfully represented by Exclusive Heritage Venues and that existing longstanding relationship made the acquisition an ideal fit. The diversification of E+M+C into representation also offers our consultancy clients an additional valuable service and likewise Exclusive Heritage Venues clients can now benefit from a first class consultancy service from an industry leading team.

Eddie Hoare and Guy Rodger will personally represent Exclusive Heritage Venues clients, which include Trinity House, The Royal Horseguards Museum and Middle Temple Hall, at the BNC Event Show in February 2017 and at IMEX in Frankfurt in May 2017.

We are delighted to be taking on this exciting brand and look forward to further developing the business that Brandon has skilfully stewarded for over a quarter of a century.

Events Management Consultancy – 2013 Review

April 2nd, 2014

2013 was a busy year for E+M+C for event management consultancy.

We provided on-going event management consultancy to assist Hedsor House with its events business and Eddie Hoare continued to chair the business in a year in which it won marketing, event management and team awards.

Additionally E+M+C was retained during the year by GDC Events to develop their “transforming events through Creative Design” concept. Square Meal Venues & Events continued to retain Eddie Hoare as an adviser and Eddie also acted as Project Director during the year to Cannon Bridge Roof Garden.

In addition we delivered feasibility studies, business plans and event marketing plans for a number of clients including Goodenough College, The British Postal Museum and Archive, iCity and Here East, Concerto Group and London City Cruise Port.

For 2014 we have a few projects in the pipeline but have capacity for more and would welcome the opportunity to provide event management consultancy advice or project management services to you or your clients.

If you have a specific project or proposal you would like to discuss please call Eddie on 01926 624884 or email eddie.hoare@eandmc.co.uk and we look forward to speaking to you in the near future.
