Autumn News from Events+Management+Consultancy

2011 has been the busiest year for E+M+C since project managing for Tutankhamun and The Golden Age of the Pharoahs’ in 2007/8.

This year we have provided strategic consultancy to Hedsor House, Cannon Bridge Roof Garden, British Waterways, Single Marque Events, Oxford Royale Academy, Square Meal, Wise Productions and Ascot Structures.

We list some of the highlights below by way of illustration of the range and diversity of the consulting services we can supply.

Hedsor Events LLP

In October 2010 Eddie Hoare was appointed Chairman of Hedsor Events LLP, the operating company for the epinominous Thames Valley venue.(www.hedsor.com) Since then Eddie and other members of the E+M+C team have worked with the partners to place the business on a profitable footing and to host diverse and world-class events. Hedsor House is fully sold out for September and October and only a handful of dates remain for November and December. For 2012 there is plenty of availability and 85 acres to enjoy!

Cannon Bridge Roof Garden

At Cannon Bridge Roof Garden Eddie Hoare was appointed project director for a second year and for the 2012 Summer Season sourced an amazing Neptunus structure that truly complimented the architecture and ensured a very busy summer for Diamond City Events. The team are currently negotiating some exciting contracts for the London 2012 Olympics.

Single Marque Events

We continued to work on business development for this niche Track Day company and the highlight of the year had to be the launching of the Blyton Park Driving Centre in Lincolnshire. In early may Eddie was re-united with Richard Usher with whom he had run the Oxford University Motor Drivers Club some 30 years previously. E+M+C acted as Event Directors for the launch of the new circuit which has benefitted from over £300k of new tarmac and attracted an eclectic range of cars from an F1 Lola to an ex-Le Mans Austin Nippy!

Square Meal Venues and Events

Next week on September 21st and 22nd we will be attending Square Meal Venues and Events Exhibition at Old Billingsgate in London and E+M+C clients, Hedsor House and Motivation and Marketing Resources, both have stands at the exhibition. The show, with exciting venues, innovative suppliers, informative seminars and engaging master classes is well worth a visit. Olympic Blog

With only just over a year to go until the London 2012 Olympic Games, Events Management Consultancy is already working with a number of properties and landowners to maximise their opportunities during the 2012 Olympic Games.

EMC has been contracted by Cannon Bridge Roof Garden operated by Diamond City Events to secure Olympic tenancies for the stunning 400 seat pavilion and exclusive roof garden situation 7 floors above Cannon Bridge. The venue will be available during July, August and September 2012 for Olympic Stakeholders wishing to entertain and broadcast at an iconic site in the heart of the city.

New EMC Website

As part of our continued efforts to improve our online marketing activities we have comissioned Optimease to develop a new website. The new website contains a similar look-and-feel to the previous website but with a focus on improving its features and accessibililty to users and search engines.

The new site is a great addition to our communication activities and includes a blog enabling us to keep visitors fully appraised of upcoming events and company news from both E+M+C and our clients.
